Scotty McCreery (country singer, American Idol winner) is doing a concert at my local small-town fair this Summer. I am going! He was my favorite on Idol during his season, and I ain't passing up this chance, and neither is my fiancee. This is gonna be awesome.

I saw him at the fair here in South Dakota last August, I had a great time. I don't know if it was because the concert was good or if it was because I drank my weight in beer and ate some of the best ribs that I have ever tasted.

Cool man, enjoy. I've seen him play a couple times around Raleigh. Once at an event for NCSU, and once at the ACC Tournament last year.

Tends to happen at country concerts. I saw Dustin Lynch, Little Big Town, and Keith Urban in September of 2013. I didn't drink (beer was way too expensive, plus we had a 3+ hour drive home), but it was an incredible show. There's so much energy it's insane. Country shows are wild.

You admitted watching Idol, so I was getting set to tear up your man card, but then *country* and *fiancee*.

He was also one of my favorites on American Idol. Lucky you!

Thanks! We actually tend to get the BIG acts, before they actually get big. We had Luke Bryan, Justin Moore, and Jason Aldean, all when they just started to appear on the national radar. Now they're massive.

I will certainly enjoy. Preferred seating is $32 per person, which is quite reasonable.

Ya it was about a 20 minute drive from my house and we had a sober driver. We smuggled a couple flaskes of whiskey in so we just bought pops mix it with, but when the whiskey was gone we just started buying the $5 beers anyways.
